Indoor Air Quality 101 (2,191 KB)
Presented at the ACI Home Performance Conference in New Orleans in 2015, this session is an introduction to Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) in residential buildings. Topics include contaminants of concern, moisture problems, source control, ventilation (ASHRAE 62.2), and filtration.

Strategies for Implementing ASHRAE 62.2 in Weatherization (1,457 KB)
This session, presented with Paul Francisco at ACI 2015 in New Orleans, addressed the the best soluions for implementing ASHRAE 62.2 in the field for low-income weatherization programs. Karg and Francisco conducted a survey to find what creative program personnel were doing in the field. Topics addressed include ventilation calculation methods, favorite fans and controls (and why), ductwork, terminations, client education, and more.
